Description — The charcoal splash stirrup strap vessel is hand-built, tall with a tiny foot. Lots of texture on the surface and glaze, made of sculpture clay.Inspired by early Moche ceramics, the design was used to help keep water from evaporating from the vessel. The round belly full of water will keep a tiny plant or flowers getting the water that they needs for a long time.
Dimensions — Approx 11” height x 5” across the sphere.
Material Notes — sculpture clay with matte charcoal glaze (has an iridescent quality) with splashes of darker matte black. Bottom dipped in black latex for extra grip on surface.
