Getting a Business Plan done is not a cheap exercise, nor should it be. It is a significant document for any business and you tend to get what you pay for. You can buy a host of books that will tell you how to write your own Business Plan but personally I am an advocate of getting someone else to write it for you. It’s easy for a business to blunder along under its own steam and momentum, not really having any significant direction or plan. These kinds of businesses are a worry. The best comparison I have is that it is like driving around without your headlights on at night. You can kind of make out the shapes on the road, and you will probably be able to miss most of the hazards, but eventually you’re going to hit something—odds on, it will hurt, a lot. read more »
