The Division of Labor in the Organization
In management, using division of labor or job specification is really meaningful, where it means that we try and manage to put a right man or a right worker with the right and actual skill in the right place.
When we put the right man or worker with the right and actual skill in the right place, that man will work wonderfully and get the best result for his work. That man will work efficiently, effectively, responsible, and wonderfully. How can he manage to do that thing? That’s because he knows exactly what he should do in his job, because he is the specialist in that kind of job. He knows which one of that they have to do and which one of that they shouldn’t do.
Imagine if you, as a person that has an ability as a tailor, have to do the carpenter job, what will happen? Bad result, not effective, not efficient, and I’m sure that the person will not enjoy his work very much. Finally using division of labor will increase the productivity, use the resource as low as we can and produce as high as we can, so that the organizational goals can be achieved and accomplished.
